Handicap Adjusted NET Score

Dr. Son won his first major!

Dr. Son won his first major title in his 2nd appearance with the amazing score of +6. He set the new Stonecreek course record by breaking +10 that Yim made in 2016. It is only one shot behind the single-round CIKOGA Championship tournament record that Choo set in 2015 at Harrison Park (+5).

His golf game was as good as Brooks Keopka with no double bogey but two birdies. His GIR was more than 80% and made only one 3 putt.

B. Lee (+14) won the 2nd place by beating J. Ko (+15) by one stroke. It is quite ironic because B. Lee, himself, asked Son to play. If he did not, he could have won his first major. He's back in the winner's circle after a long major drought. As a long time member of Stonecreek golf course, it seems that he enjoyed the tournament most along with Son and Y. Lee.

Many players, including Son, shoot under par in terms of net score. However, T. Oh was stellar by shooting -9 and became the medalist. Unfortunately, he will move to Maryland and CIKOGA cannot see his golf improvement any more. What a glorious finish for T. Oh who worked so hard with his golf swing during his short career in CIKOGA!
